Siloam Springs, AR – Simmons Animal Nutrition is leveraging artificial intelligence to capture value, eliminate waste, and accelerate decision-making across its operations.

The initiative spans multiple business functions, from supply chain and operations to commercial strategy,  bringing teams together under a shared mission to identify where AI can reduce friction, cut recurring tasks, and deliver better outcomes for customers. The initiative includes actively identifying use cases, executing hackathons, and continually implementing solutions.

“AI is a force multiplier for our people,” said Nathan Hudson, VP of Strategy. “ With these technologies, we’re building an enterprise that learns faster, collaborates better, and delivers what matters.”

Pioneering the AI deployment is Megan DuCote, Simmons Animal Nutrition's Commercial Intelligence lead, who has been designing and deploying AI agents within the company's ERP systems, data lakes, and reporting applications.

“In a fast-paced environment where data is constantly changing, the ability for AI agents to deliver real-time, accurate insights across functions allows us to make better, faster decisions — and that ultimately translates into value for our customers,” said DuCote.

The cross-functional nature of the effort has been a defining feature, with Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams collaborating to increase transparency, reduce spend, and strengthen the service experience for our customers.

As AI continues to evolve, Simmons Animal Nutrition is positioned to scale its capabilities, ensuring that innovations remain a competitive advantage.
