Simmons Foods Awards M.H. “Bill” Simmons Memorial Scholarship to Two Colcord High School Seniors

Siloam Springs, AR – Simmons Foods is proud to announce Madison Hancock and Jamariana Miller, both graduating seniors at Colcord High School, as the latest recipients of the M.H. "Bill" Simmons Memorial Scholarship.

Established in memory of company founder M.H. “Bill” Simmons, the scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate strong character, academic excellence, and a clear vision for their future. Both Hancock and Miller stood out as outstanding role models and exemplary students, reflecting the values the scholarship was created to celebrate.

Madison Hancock is the daughter of Jennette Hancock, a member of Simmons Animal Nutrition's Commercial team. With a deep passion for agriculture and cattle, Madison plans to attend Connors State College in Warner, Oklahoma to pursue a degree in Animal Science. Through hard work and dedication, she intends to build a successful future as a large animal veterinarian.

Jamariana Miller is the daughter of Robert Miller, a grower for Simmons Foods. An avid basketball player, Jamariana plans to attend the University of North Texas to pursue a degree in Sports Management, with the ambition of becoming a head coach. She hopes to use her athletic knowledge and experience to mentor and build up the next generation of young athletes.

By supporting students in the communities surrounding its operations, the company aims to open doors for young people pursuing meaningful careers and lifelong learning.
